Mahmoud Elbagoury

Mr. Elbagoury is a Chief GRC Officer for Union Group. He has worked as Chief Internal Auditor for the Egyptian Company for Investment Projects; Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager for KPMG, and Senior Internal Auditor for Telecom Egypt Group. With a strong board presence, Mr. Elbagoury is a Board Member at Agel for Financial Services , ACFE Egypt Chapter, Chairperson of the Audit Committee at Thndr Technology Holding. Furthermore, he was served as a Member of the Board of Directors’ Advisory Committee for KPMG Egypt, and a Member of the Board of Trustees for Qeyada Foundation. Mr. Elbagoury is a Global Guidance Contributor , and Internal Audit Ambassador for the Institute of Internal Auditor s (IIA) ; Member of the Global Advisory Council of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) ; Program Director for the Enterprise Risk Management Academy (ERMA) in MENA region , and Sustainable Development Ambassador for the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD).
