Saloon Tham

Mr. Tham currently serves as Chairman of China Life (Taiwan). He is a multi-lingual seasoned insurance executive with over 30 years of experience. Lived and worked in 9 countries/regions, acting in various executive roles from CFO to CEO and serving in local and regional capacities, and had both green-field start-up experience and had managed large complex operations.
Before joining China Life, he served as Regional CEO of Tokio Marine Asia, CEO of AIA Thailand (AIAT), Regional GM of Allianz SE Asia Pacific, Regional President of ACE Life Asia Pacific, General Manager of Huatai Life Beijing, etc.
He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
